On a spring day when you are tired from spring fever, give the gift of sincerity contained in Gongjindan.

Spring is the season of new life. New green shoots appear on trees, and flowers on the roadside show their faces in the spring sun. However, unlike the bright atmosphere of spring, our bodies and minds can easily become drowsy and tired. If you go to bed early but feel sleepy during the day, have a reduced appetite, and have low motivation, it could be a 'spring fever'.

Spring fever is not a disease but a physiological response to the season. It is a kind of 'spring fatigue syndrome'  that occurs when the metabolism that had been slowed down during the winter is suddenly activated in the spring, which increases energy consumption and the body cannot keep up. However, if this symptom is repeated or prolonged, it can significantly reduce the quality of daily life and can even worsen existing health problems.

In Oriental medicine, springtime lethargy and fatigue are interpreted not as simple seasonal phenomena, but as a result of weakness of qi and blood, especially the imbalance of liver function. The liver is also deeply related to spring in Oriental medicine, and fatigue, loss of energy, eye fatigue, and muscle stiffness are closely related to liver function. Therefore, rather than simply passing off springtime lethargy as “due to the season when you sleep a lot,” it is important to restore the body’s balance with tonics that replenish qi and blood and boost organ function during this period.

During this time, the most recommended health supplement to my patients is **Gongjindan**. Gongjindan is a representative health supplement that was also used by the royal family during the Joseon Dynasty and is made up of precious medicinal ingredients such as angelica, cornelian cherry, deer antler, and musk. It goes beyond simply relieving fatigue, and is highly effective in restoring the overall energy of the mind and body, harmonizing the functions of the five viscera and six bowels, and enhancing immunity.

In particular, Gongjindan protects the liver and kidneys and has the effect of replenishing qi and blood, so it is very suitable for people with severe spring fever or chronic fatigue, elderly people with low energy, students taking exams, or office workers who are exhausted from hard work. Many patients who took Gongjindan said, “I can open my eyes more easily in the morning and feel the day much lighter.”

Every spring, I carefully wrap Gongjindan and give it as a gift to my parents and close elders. The sincerity contained in each pill is a great comfort in itself, and when I see them say, “Thank you for giving me such precious health supplements. I feel so grateful and energized,” I feel even warmer.

A health supplement made with sincerity is not just a medicine to heal the body, but an expression of love and respect. Give a pill of Gongjindan to your family, parents, and teachers who are tired of spring lethargy. A gift filled with sincerity and health will remain in your heart longer than an expensive material.

This spring, I hope you convey the values of 'energy' and 'health' to your loved ones.

Sincerity is the best medicine. 2025-05-16
